GREAT BRITAIN AMPUTEE FOOTBALL
GBAF
As part of EAFA's commitment to providing all levels of amputee football, the EAFA charity has run Great Britain Amputee Football (GBAF) since 2006.
GBAF finished 2nd in Volgograd, 2006 & 3rd in Antalya, 2008.

World Cup draw made, see the news page for full details. GBAF find themselves in Group D with games against Russia, Sierra leone & Angola.
GBAF have now confirmed their entry to the World Amputee Football Federation World Cup, to be held in the city of Crespo, Argentina. The Squad still need to raise funds and EAFA will be looking to help. A big thank you to all individuals and organisations that have donated already to allow the team to get this far. GBAF hosted the French Amputee National Team over the weekend of 05 & 06 June 2010 in Manchester to compete for the Takeda Cup. The games were held at Woodley Sports Stadium, Stockport. GBAF won both games and lifted the cup.

GBAF is committed to competing at the World Amputee Football Federation WC2010 and shall be hosted by Argentina, in the City of Crespo, later this year.
EAFA will once again be helping to raise awareness & funds. We wish the team all the best and we will publish the fixtures when we have the dates.
